CYBERBULLY: Celebrities Aid Toyin Abraham As Youtuber Wished Her Dead for Supporting Tinubu
Actress, Toyin Abraham has recently been smacked by different trolls on social media after she declared her unflinching support for Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate ahead of the 2023 election in Nigeria.
Abraham, despite this, has consistently lived above the trolls while tacitly while their invective commentaries are away.
However, on Wednesday a YouTuber with name: Celeb Gossip Naija posted a five minutes video, having different pictures of Toyin Abraham inked with R.I.P, a picture of a casket clad on Nigeria’s National flag and a picture of Bola Tinubu as its thumbnail. The collage picture also has it written underneath as Death Caused by Election. This action has sparked many reactions, leaving Abraham to repost it on her Instagram account while adding that her choice of candidacy is being threatened despite democracy.
In the post, she wrote, “It is no more Democracy if you don’t allow people to make their decision freely. Everyone cannot see things from your angle ONLY.
“Bullying, harassing and threatening people’s life because they disagree with you on personal choice shouldn’t be encouraged at all.
“Why would anyone put this out there? Why? Why should anyone wish others bad because they made a different choice? Why?
“Death is not my portion in Jesus’ name. #asiwajubaby #iamasiwajubaby”
Reacting to this, actor Kunle Remi wrote, “God forbid, may the person who did this fall in that pit.”
“I reject it for you, it shall never be your portion, my dear,” Iyabo Ojo also stated.
Actor Ibrahim Chatta also said, “Iwo kiyo ku iku kiku kan bi kose yiye,”—meaning—”you shall not die but live.”
