Women Deliver Opens 2026 Media Scholarships for Journalists

Women Deliver has announced the opening of applications for its 2026 media scholarships, offering journalists and creators worldwide an opportunity to attend and report on its upcoming global conference. Apply: Women Deliver 2026 Media Scholarships
According to a statement published on the organisation’s website, the 2026 conference will spotlight feminist leadership, lived experiences, and First Nations advocacy across the Oceanic Pacific and beyond.
The scholarship package covers full conference registration, round-trip airfare, hotel accommodation, visa fees, per diems, and travel insurance — ensuring inclusive participation for storytellers who might otherwise be unable to attend.
The Women Deliver 2026 Conference is scheduled to take place from 27 to 30 April 2026 in Narrm (Melbourne), Australia. It is expected to convene diverse feminist voices to influence policy, strengthen accountability, and highlight the leadership of women, girls, and gender-diverse people globally.
Applications open on September 15, 2025, and close on October 31, 2025. Successful applicants will be notified by November 2025.
Eligible candidates include reporters, editors, producers, photojournalists, videographers, podcasters, and digital content creators committed to factual reporting on social issues. Freelancers may also apply, provided they include a commissioning letter.
Priority consideration will be given to First Nations and Indigenous journalists, LGBTQIA+ persons, people with disabilities, refugees, internally displaced persons, and individuals from under-resourced communities. Early-career media professionals and those who have not previously benefited from a Women Deliver scholarship are also strongly encouraged to apply.
Recipients will be expected to actively participate in conference sessions and media briefings, produce and publish stories from the event, and adhere to the Women Deliver 2026 Code of Conduct. Women Deliver 2026 Media Scholarships
