A man identified as Kunle Ojo has cried out for help after suspected land grabbers demolished his residence in Oluyole Extension, Ibadan, Oyo State.
Ojo, in a viral video said he has been struggling with the land grabbers he identified as Akoto Family, comprising Kazeem Akoto; Oluomo; Taye and Kehinde Agbada, nearly three months ago in a house he has built and resided for over 39 years.
According to Ojo, last week when he left for work, the mentioned alleged land grabbers came and demolished his house.
He said the land grabbers whom he described colloquially described as “Ọmọ Onílè” first came three months ago, claiming the ownership of the land.
Since then, it has been a tug of war until last week when they demolished the building.
The land was purchased from Aregbe Ọmọ family, according to Ojo.
“Citizens of Nigeria, citizens of Oyo State please help o. I have been living in this house for more than 39 years. I used all my life savings to build this house o. It was three months ago, Ọmọ Onílè came to say it is their land. Now, they’ve demolished it when I was not around,” the man said.
