Trending: Do you experience Outage on WhatsApp, You’re Not Alone

Globe — [July 19, 2023) WhatssAp, one of the most widely used Meta’s platform, was down for barely five minutes on Wednesday night, The PIJAlance authoritatively confirmed.

If you experience outage, leaving your messages to be unsent, not loading your WhatsApp statuses, or experience signal breakdown; don’t panic WhatssAp was down for barely five minutes on the night of Wednesday.

One of PIJAlance’s correspondent was in a virtual editorial meeting held on WhatsApp when signals suddenly became lost.

“I, at first thought it was my network,” said Mrs Veronique Nandine, The PIJAlance Chair in Miami. “Not until I discovered when I was trying to send a message too, it wasn’t going through.”

“I never thought of it to be down. Lol! As in, it doesn’t even cross my mind. I had to put off my tablet, check my WiFi, put it off and on before I later discovered, I was not alone. It was indeed down,” Sarah said.

Speaking about the experience, The PIJAlance publisher, Enoch Oyedibu, said he was flummoxed. Adding that it was a mischievous and unforeseen occurrence happening the second time.

The PIJAlance checked out Twitter and found it was the most talked-about and trending topic globally. But the handle of the platform on Twitter didn’t make a post on it.

Tweeps tweeted in French, English, Pidgin, Spanish and other languages to ask questions on why WhatssAp stopped functioning all of the sudden.

This is the second time WhatssAp would be down after Mark Zuckerberg’s Meta became its owner.

However, as of the time of filing this report, WhatssAp is back online.
