The Osun High Court on Monday has levelled new charges against the Hilton Honours Hotel CEO, Dr Raymond Adedoyin with regards to the death of an hotelier, Oludare Timothy.
The High Court which was presided by Judge Adepele Ojo, noted that the prosecution has charged Adedoyin and other six 18 count charges while striking out three out of the defendants following the withdrawal of application.
The case file tagged HOS/56/22 was between Adedoyin and the Federal Government based on an alleged murder of Timothy Oludare who lodged at Hilton Hotel on November 5th 2021 before later found dead on November 17th 2021 along Ede road, Osun with some of his properties looted.

Judge Ojo ruled that the seven; Dr Raymond Adedoyin, Adeniyi Aderogba, Magdalene Chefuna, Oluwole Lawrence, Oyetunde Kazeem, Adebayo Kunle, and Adedeji Adesola were charged to have murdered Timothy Oludare on or between Nov 5th, 2021 to Nov 17th, 2021; attempt to commit felony, Conspiracy, Improper and Indecent appearance, accessory of murder, Conspiracy to alter the list of payment among others.
However, while hearing the case, seven defense attorneys made a request for the adjournment of the case due to their witnesses yet unavailable and which Judge Adepele Ojo, accepted thereby adjourning the case to 1st and 2nd of December, 2022.
Judge Ojo added that all witnesses must be made available at the fixed day because she hope to pronounce the judgement as soon as possible on the case.
In her words, “I don’t like delaying cases, and with this case taking a lot of time, I don’t like it. I hope to pronounce judgement on that day so all witnesses must be made available.
“No day is fixed for one witness or the other, the scheduled days are for all witnesses.”
