The candidate, alongside his running mate Kashim Shettima, and party chairman Abdullahi Adamu had arrived the city in company of several APC leaders, and were received by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq as well as a legion of APC candidates and leaders from across the state.

Abdulrazaq who described the rally as one “like no others in the recent history of the state, with security agencies struggling to clear the human traffic that heralded Asiwaju’s arrival to the city of Sheikh Alimi,” did so through his Press Secretary, Mallam Rafiu Ajakaye.

Meanwhile, there were many others among the supporters who donned the Emilokan cap, some others adorned with the insignia of the cap; altogether shouting ‘Emilokan.’
