Six Under 30 Nigerians, Others Declared Wanted By EFCC

At least, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is looking for six Nigerians within the age of 20 to 29 years old, PIJAlance learnt. The fact of looking for them isn’t disturbing but the puzzle that they’re under 30 (around the age of  PIJAlance Next Under 30 Creatives) and are being sought-after by Crimes Commission operatives is upsetting minds.

 

PIJAlance has also reported that beyond Abass Olorunwa, popularly known as Hushpuppi, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) are looking for Seven Nigerians who have defrauded more than 70 businesses through Business Email Compromise in the United States.

 

All of the six persons, were allegedly declared wanted on allegations bordering theft, false pretence, financial fraud and money laundering.

 

The six were Uje Alex Ogedengbe, 27; Akinbode Henry Olalekan, 29; Babatunde Olabobe, 24; Christian Otti, 25; Ogbemudia Desire Osakpolor, 27 and Afolabi Boluwatife Michael, who is also 25.

In the same vein, Abdul Adama, personal assistant to former Kwara State Governor, Senator Bukola Saraki, and few others has also been declared wanted. Some others declared wanted were since 2022 but they have yet to be found, hitherto.

 

Abdul Adama was declared wanted in 2023 over issues bordering money laundering and conspiracy. He was alleged to have laundered a sum of 12 billion naira belonging to the Kwara State Government between 2003 to 2011.

According to the EFCC, the suspect, Adama jumped administrative bail granted on to him and since then has been “incommunicado.”

 

Others were Divine Patience Ojoadale Ichado, Kabir Pompin Raheem and Uko Odudu Emmanuel Idungima who have been alleged on Theft, Criminal Breach of Trust, Diversion of Funds and money laundering of a sum of 30 million naira.

 

Onyinmiebi and Beatrice Bribena; Amaechi Bartholomen Udeaku, Paul Odogbo and Precious Williams have also been included on the wanted list for money-related allegations.

 

The commission has however enjoined members of the public for any information to help in finding all listed individuals, whatsoever, should be directed to it.
