Ladisis Synergy Nigeria Limited, chiefly directed by Chidimma Aladimma cannot explain why contract awarded to it on 31st December, 2022 has not been initiated neither brought to a state of completion seven months after, Tracka, a nongovernmental organization tracking government procurement and projects noted.

The project was captured by Govspend (also a nongovernmental organization tracking governments fiscal spending) though has been removed or was not uploaded at all on the Procurement Portal of the Taraba State Government.

The project was awarded under the administration of the former Governor Darius Ishaku and a sum of N14,694,020.60 was disbursed to one Ladisis Synergy Nigeria Ltd, being payment for the supply and installation of transformer at Mayo Gwoi Ward Jalingo, Taraba state, Govspend noted.

Since the disbursement, nothing was heard from Ladisis Synergy and all communication to the company was blocked as it doesn’t have a physical address, website or social profile to track it.

Seven Months After: Contractor Refuses to deliver Multimillion Naira Project in Taraba
Mayo Gwoi

The people of Mayo Gwoi have complained of their transformer around the Donga Park Area as being overloaded. A situation that always leads to power loss and fluctuations.

A visit to the project site found that no project has been initiated as the community continues to swim in their power loss and fluctuations ordeals.

Yola Distribution Company (YDC) said no transformers were installed during the time, hitherto. It added that there is no way a transformer would be installed that they will not know about.

Just like many years back, the community continues to cry for a new transformer around Donga Park in Mayo Gwoi Ward and the disbursement of funds, which prompted the Tracka team in Taraba to go all out to track this disbursement, has gone into an oblivion.

As of the time of filling this report, the project has yet to commence seven months after despite the disbursement of funds.
