As the doctor was attending to the patient, she began making some calls of which the doctor asked her and she claimed she wants to call her relatives to come and clear the hospital bills. This was the new revelation disclosed by Nigerian Medical Association, on Thursday.

The “relatives” of the patient, reportedly arrived in a Toyota hilux and headed for the doctor’s office where they shot him dead before fleeing the scene with the disguised female patient.

The incident has generated so much uproar in the state as members of the Nigeria Medical Association (NMA) have threatened to down tools. This report debunks the initial narrative making the rounds that the killing was carried out by relatives of a patient who died in the hospital some time ago.
