Reuters Institute Calls for Fellows for Climate Journalism Network
Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism at the University of Oxford is inviting applications to the Oxford Climate Journalism Network (OCJN).
The OCJN supports journalists and newsroom leaders in identifying and addressing the range of operational, cultural and ethical issues involved in expanding their coverage of climate change.
The course aims to broaden the scope of climate change journalism. As a result, journalists, multimedia reporters, photographers and editors from beats such as sports, business and politics are encouraged to apply.
Successful applicants will participate in a mandatory 90-minute seminar every two weeks.
Members of the network will participate in a six-month online programme with access to world-leading experts, dedicated workshops and a community of 100 journalists from all continents.
The course is free and the seventh cohort will be held January to June 2025. The eighth cohort will be held from July to December 2025.
The next deadline to apply is October 13, 2024. Interested applicants can apply here.
