PIJAlance Journalist, Enoch Oyedibu Selected for GovTracker 2025 Fellowship Programme

Enoch Oyedibu, a prominent journalist with PIJAlance Magazine and the PIJA Foundation, has been selected for the 2025 GovTracker Fellowship Programme.

The programme, organised by the Webfala Digital Skills for All Initiative, complements PIJAlance’s mission and commitment to tracking the grassroots impacts of government procurement in Nigeria.

The programme is aimed to empower young leaders with the skills, knowledge and tools to monitor governance processes, advocate for transparency and civic engagement.

The key organiser, the Webfala Digital Skills for All Initiative is dedicated to providing digital education, resources, and tools for delivering STEM, ICT, and 21st-century digital literacy skills to underserved youth in Africa.

Sponsored and implemented by the European Union, European Partnerships for Democracy, ALDA and People in Need; the GovTracker Fellowship further supports PIJAlance’s efforts in monitoring government procurement’s impact on local communities.

According to an internal memorandum from Rapheal Ogundele, Webfala’s Community Engagement Manager, Oyedibu was selected through a highly competitive process. His application stood out for demonstrating his commitment to governance, civic engagement, and accountability.

Having engaged in numerous investigative reports on government procurement, Oyedibu will join the fellowship to gain valuable insights, skills, and networking opportunities to enhance impactful governance and policy advocacy in Nigeria’s grassroots communities.
