Ospolites can submit their files without tax clearance — SUG
…management has eradicated tax clearance compulsion
The Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, Student Union has said management of the Institution has eradicated the tax clearance compulsion for students to submit their academic files.
The union, under the aegis of Comr. Ajao Samson (Impeccable) said, through a memo put out recently that, “this is to inform all students that school authority has eradicated tax clearance as part of the criteria for submission of file.
“Having meeting with the management with a sound arguments and consolidated agitation, the school authority issued a directive to all faculty officers in the institution to not require for tax clearance as part of the requirements during the registration exercise by the students in the faculty.
“Hence, the students Union enjoined all students to not hesitate to report any faculty officer that indulge in any form of extortion by requiring for tax clearance from the students as justice will prevail to protect the flag of our dear Institution.”
However, all attempt to get in touch to the Ospoly Rector, Dr Woye Olaniran, to further authenticate this SUG report was proven futile to the pijaonline.
