OSPAA Meets OSPOLY Mgt to Address Issues Facing Students
The National Executive Council of the Osun State Polytechnic Iree Alumni Association recently met with the top management of the institution to discuss partnership on various developmental programs and address certificate and transcript collection issues.
The president of OSPAA, Alh Yakub Akeem, expressed appreciation for the OSPOLY management’s role in resolving the association’s previous crises and stated that the association is taking serious action on issues affecting its growth, including implementing digital elections to increase participation from alumni members across the globe.
The president also requested that the management partner with the OSPAA and recognize the association as an entity representing all graduates of the institution, as well as find a solution to the issue of certificate and transcript processing and collection and lift the ban on the payment of alumni annual dues that was implemented in 2021.

The acting Rector, Dr Tajudeen Odetayo, and other members of the management team congratulated the OSPAA on its recent convention and expressed their willingness to partner with the association on physical projects within the institution.
The National Publicity Secretary, Adekunle Sikiru, concluded the meeting with a prayer for continued peace and cooperation between the OSPAA, the management, and the state.
On the entourage of the National Executive Council of OSPAA were vice president Academics, Mr Lawal Ismail; the National Secretary, Mr Odeyemi Anthony; Treasurer, Mr Adebowale Sunday; Financial Secretary,Mr Yekini Saka; Social Secretary, Mr Akeula Kolawole; and Assistance general Secretary Mrs Shakirah Rasheed.
Among those who were also present were, Osun State Polytechnic Iree, the Registrar, Barr B.M Salawu; the Bursar, Mr Femi Okediya; and the Director of Media, Protocol and Publicity, Mr Bayo Fadeji; and the Bursar, Mr Femi Okediya.
