Nigerian rap artiste and songwriter Oladipupo Oladimeji popularly known as Oladips has opened up about his controversial death story in a diss track, targeted at critics of his controversial death.
The rapper in a song titled Lazarus out of his 10 tracks in newly-released album, revealed he was unconscious, leaving his mother in tears and family in worries, while many were online alleging that he faked his death as a PR strategy.
Oladips who however gave glory to God for surviving the struggle, further revealed he was in ‘Abule Ijoko’, where he was being traditionally fortified in a bid to survive the struggle which had his mother calling different religious practitioners.
Also, he made it known the process took him a week to get back on his fit and saw him cut his dread before getting back to life.
In the same vein, the rapper fires at Daniel Regha, Lawrance, B.O.D, and Basito for allegedly forging captions and stories regarding his dissension death online.
Oladips compares Daniel Regha to a disabled while he describes the others as dumbs who allegedly forge captions against him just to gain engagement and earn from Elon Musk’s platform known as X (formerly Twitter).
He further revealed how the fallout between one of his bosses in the music industry has exposed him to ridicule among some prominent musicians while describing the Nigerian music industry as a cabal.
Recall that on November 15, 2023 Oladips’ management announced that the artiste had passed away after battling personal struggles for over two years.
Shortly after, the management released the rapper’s 17-track album titled ‘Superhero Adugbo’.
