The leadership of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has recently stated that there will be a ‘change of venue’ for the 2023 Batch B Stream II corps members deployed to Borno State.
In a X (formerly known as Twitter) post broken to threads, management of NYSC said the new venue for the 2023 Batch ‘B’ Stream II Orientation course for Borno State has been changed.
The new venue is expected to be communicated through the call-up letters of the respective and affected prospective corps members.
All Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) have hereby been advised to reprint their call-up letters so as fo be kept abreast of the latest information as regards to their venue.
“Change of Venue of the 2023 Batch ‘B’ Stream II Orientation Course for Borno State. The venue of the Borno State NYSC Orientation Camp has been changed,” NYSC post on X noted.
“All Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) deployed to Borno are to reprint their Call-up letters from the NYSC portal.
“The date of the commencement of the Orientation Course has also been changed to 18th August 2023.
“All affected PCMs are to report on the dates printed on their Call-up letters.”
Reasons for the change of venue was never stated but the majority of users rumoured it to have been because of security challenges around the State.
