Nigeria Data Portal Still Recognises Late Abiola Ajimobi as Oyo State Governor
Most of them still retains their former Governors and former data on education, crime and economy on the website.

Since 2013, Nigeria Data Portal has left Oyo State data on its website ‘un-updated.’

Its data recognises Late Isiaq Abiola Ajimobi, former Governor of Oyo State as the current governor and first person of the state.
Practically, the PIJAlance found that all data of the website are outdated.
Lagos State still has Akinwumi Ambode as its Governor, while Osun, Rauf Aregbesola, the current Minister of Interior and former governor of Osun State as its Governor.
This also goes to the other States when checked.

Most of the data on the website still retains their former Governors and former data on education, crime, economy and other sectors on the website.
Nigeria Data Portal is sponsored by African Development Bank and in 2023, about $618 million were approved to FG for the purpose of Investment in Digital and Creative Enterprises (iDCE). But it seems, the investment does not cut across spending to update needed data on the website.
