Mount Zion Institute of Christian Drama Nigeria, has collaborated with the Redeemer’s University to offer direct entry admission into 200 level B.A in Theatre Arts (Christian Drama).
This programme will run at the Mount Zion Institute, Ile-Ife. It will also offer Post-Graduate Diploma in THEATRE ARTS (Christian Drama).
Mike Bamiloye, the general overseer of Mount Zion Institute who reveals this through its verified Facebook page, says the journey to get the academy fully established to offer the programme has taken the institute “6 years.”
“It is a Journey that has taken us 6 Years to achieve (2018-2023) right from the tenure of Prof Debo Adeyewa VC RUN who initiated the Collaboration in 2018 to the Current VC who signed the MOU, Prof. Anthony Akinlo.
“We appreciate the full support and effort of the Deputy VC, Prof. Ahmed Yerimah, Prof. Olalekan Dairo (HOD Religious Studies); HOD Theatre Arts, and all other Faculty Officers who worked behind the scene to bring this to Fruition.”
Mr Bamiloye reminds that Mount Zion Institute is still affiliated with AJAYI CROWTHER UNIVERSITY, OYO. “But the Degree and the Post-Graduate Diploma Studies will be Coordinated in Collaboration with the Redeemers University (RUN) Ede.”
He stresses that though application portal is due to be opened soon, all interested degree holders can now pursue PGD in Theatre Arts (Christian Drama) – for 12 months.
While, all interested MZI Diploma holders with their GCE can proceed on DIRECT ENTRY (200L) B.A.Theatre Arts (Christian Drama)
