Meta Rolls Out Voice Recording On Statuses As New Feature On Whatssap
Though it has yet to be announced by any of the verified platforms of Meta, WhatsApp now gets a new feature of voice recording on statuses but this feature is rolled out on a random basis.
Findings by PIJAlance show that WhatsApp users have started using the new whatssap feature on their respective statuses. And while some use it for testing, others have started using it for updating their statuses.
However, some other users have yet to see this new whatssap feature on their statuses. It is believed the feature will be rolled out to them soon.
The new whatssap feature is not also peculiar to iOS users, alone. Android users can have access to the new feature.
The new feature is expected to ease the stress of typing and further solidify the authenticity of most of the users’ posts.
This will or may mitigate the effect of piracy on users’ ideas and experiences posted on WhatsApp statuses with their voices backing it up.
Moreover, the new feature can still posit a danger to those who use WhatsApp for clandestine, sensitive and classified discussions. Anonymous users, hackers and scammers will not be able to use their voices so they may not be easily traced.
This new feature can still be a source of identifying people easily with their voices.
Worthy of note, Meta has constantly flung new features to its three basic platforms: WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram in recent times.
Since their purchase, the three platforms have witnessed amazing transformation with Meta sending out new features, almost every day to increase the users’ experience.
Meta has been consistent in its quest to build a platform where all other of its platforms can coexist, interact and relatively connect to improve the users’ experience.
Mark Zuckerberg, the most prominent personality, and the Chief Executive Officer of Meta will obviously not rest until this vision is achieved.
