Since the news broke, conflicting claims have surfaced online, with some fans announcing his death while others insist he survived.
A video posted by Kwara Gong on Facebook showed a woman receiving a call in which the caller alleged that Zanku had died.
As at the time of filing this report, no official confirmation has been made regarding the comedian’s condition.
Until the uncertainty surrounding the incident is cleared, Zanku remains one of Nigeria’s promising young comedians with a growing following online.
