The Osun State Polytechnic, Iree class 21′ graduates have decried the management on the delay in their respective regularisation.
This was disclosed shortly, by the students in an online chat with the PIJAONLINE expressing their concern and the registrar’s negligence.
According to a graduate, Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) has tasked the Ospoly management to complete the regularisation of the graduates so they will get aligned for the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
But, as regards to the regularisation of the graduates, no measure has been put in place by the Ospoly management, since February, 2021 that the graduates had graduated.
“Ospoly Management stop delaying our JAMB regularisation, we want to be mobilised and Deployed for service.
“We are getting tired JAMB and OSPOLY Management, we have graduated since February 2021, this is July,” said by a graduate who would love to concealed identity.
“Management, JAMB asked you to complete our regularisation. What’s causing the delay?
“We are tired of WAITING our mates have been mobilised,” the graduates lamented.
Meanwhile, it would be recalled, PIJAONLINE had earlier reported that Ospoly class 21′ candidates may experience delay in their deployment as there are some issues yet, unsolved between JAMB and the Ospoly Management. The report added that there are some graduates’ regularisation credentials rejected to the institution based on some issues undisclosed.
PIJAONLINE report that office of the registrar disclosed, students who submit their regularisation credentials around November-December, should be patient, as the board, JAMB, returned their credentials to the Institution, based on some issues, the Institution didn’t disclose to the public.
However, management of the Institution later debunked the fact that class 21′ graduates would not experience delay, as reported by PIJAONLINE. It’s now flabbergasting why graduated students yet to be deployed, decried the ineptness of the management on their regularisation.
Furthermore, of late, the registrar of the institution, Mr Busari Salawu had said “the Institution has sent the list of qualified candidates, who have successfully graduated from the Polytechnic to the NYSC for mobilisation, but some of the candidates have not been able to complete their JAMB regularisation which had made it impossible for the NYSC to mobilise them.
“We did not delay the mobilisation of the graduating students of the Institution in any form. They should contact JAMB and complete their regularisation. ‘We have done our own part” the Registrar declared.
However, graduated candidates in question, have contacted JAMB regularisation centre in Osogbo and the officials there keep on reiterating that Ospoly has issues with JAMB, result is the delay.
