Just In: Akeredolu Cancels June 12 Celebration Over Owo Killings
The Ondo State Governor Rotimi Akeredolu has cancelled the 2022 June 12 Celebration of Democracy over the Owo Killings.
Governor Akeredolu disclosed this through his verified Twitter handle on Saturday.
He said this is in honour of the victims of the terror attack at the St. Francis Catholic Church in Owo, Ondo State.

He added that the cancellation is to allow Ondo State residents to mourn their loved ones who lost their lives during the attack.
In his words: “In honour of the victims of the terror attack at St. Francis Catholic Church in Owo, the Ondo State Government has canceled this year’s June 12 celebration.
