Journalists! Apply for ICIR Tax Equity and Justice Project
Qualified Business/Finance Reporters in Lagos, Kano, Taraba, and Cross Rivers States are encouraged to apply as the project is aimed at improving the reportage of tax issues in Nigeria.
The International Centre for Investigative Reporting, is calling journalists to apply for its Tax Equity and Justice Project.
The project is with the support of the International Budget Partnership and IBP.
Qualified Business/Finance Reporters in Lagos, Kano, Taraba, and Cross Rivers States are encouraged to apply as the project is aimed at improving the reportage of tax issues in Nigeria.
Who can apply?
Candidates applying for this opportunity must have at least two years of experience as business or finance reporter, work in print, electronic, and online media, and reside in Lagos, Kano, Taraba, and Cross Rivers States, Nigeria.
The organisers also said that applicant must be below 40 years old and must be ready to reside in the state for the next year.
Applicants must also have the endorsement of his/her organization’s editor.
Organisers encouraged freelance journalists with proven reporting track records to apply.
Intending journalists must provide proof of previous business/finance reporting in the 12 months.
Being a gender-inclusive organization, the organisers strongly encourages qualified female journalists to apply
