Job Seeker Nabbed for Falsifying Recruitment Result in Oyo
A middle-aged job seeker, Abosede Ojo, has been apprehended by the Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (OYOSUBEB) for allegedly falsifying her job portal result.
According to the Board Chairman, Nureni Adeniran, Ojo scored 36 in the recruitment CBT examination but connived with an examination syndicate to produce a fake congratulatory message.
Adeniran revealed that Ojo was caught during a verification exercise for qualified candidates. She confessed to not attending the interview and instead worked with her husband to obtain a fake congratulatory message.
“The suspect confessed that she did not come for the interview, but liaised with her husband to get herself a congratulatory message.
“The police are on a trail of transactions between the suspect and the cyber-cafe where she got the printout.
“The suspect has been handed over to the police, and the board would track and also apprehend others involved in the illicit act,” Adeniran vowed.
The police are currently investigating transactions between Ojo and the cyber-cafe where she printed the fake message.
The board has handed Ojo over to the police for further investigation and vowed to track down others involved in the illicit act. Adeniran warned others to desist from such acts, stating that those found wanting would face the full wrath of the law.
