A yet-to-be-identified member of the People’s Democratic Party in Osun State has told the members of the party that they may shoot or beat anyone, PIJAlance learnt.

In a viral video obtained by PIJAlance, the member said if anyone hears a gunshot, they should not think it further, it is the PDP members that pull the trigger.

The member whose name has yet to be fathomed also said if members hears that anyone beats another, they should never look it further, it is the same party.

Though, reasons for the alleged threatening boast still remains unfurled, critics have said that possibility of the Governor, Ademola Adeleke’s winning being threatened by the former Governor, Gboyega Oyetola could be the case.

Adeleke had earlier being declared winner of July 16, 2022 Osun Gubernatorial election by the Independent National Electoral Commission.

But new development came from the All Progressives Congress’s candidate, Gboyega Oyetola that threatened the winning of Adeleke more than three months after he has been sworn in to office.

Election Tribunal in Osun had declared Adeleke’s winning unfounded while elevating Oyetola as the winner of July 16 Osun guber.

Adeleke, who also approached the Supreme Court has had his appeal rejected.

The Guardian wrote that “the Supreme Court has dismissed an appeal by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) seeking to restore the nullification of the participation of Osun’s ex-governor Gboyega Oyetola and his deputy Benedict Alabi in the July 16, 2022 governorship election.”

Though, Ademola Adeleke is still seen as the winner of the election, his winning is still shaking based on the case of Gboyega Oyetola.
