Hilda Baci, is a Nigerian chef who beat an 87 hrs 45 mins world longest cooking record by setting her own record of 100 hrs.
Since she started four days ago, fans, entertainment celebrities and political leaders like Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-olu and others have drummed up their supports for her.
Baci had said she engaged in the cooking marathon to beat the world record of Indian chef Lata Tondon with 87 hrs 45 mins.
However, ever since she completed her 100 hrs cook-a-thon, Guinness World Records has not issued out any certificate to recognise her 100 hrs feat, yet.
Guinness World Records had said its management are gathering evidence to confirm Baci as truly the one that beat the existing world longest cooking record.
It had published in the article, “A Nigerian chef has been cooking up a storm in her kitchen in the hopes of landing a world record.
“Hilda Bassey, known on social media as Hilda Baci, has been dominating headlines around the world ever since she launched her cooking marathon.
“She’s hoping to snap up the record title for longest cooking marathon (individual) which currently belongs to Lata Tondon (India) with a time of 87 hr 45 min.

“Hilda began cooking on Thursday and continued through to Monday, reportedly whipping up 55 recipes and more than 100 meals in a whopping 100-hour stint.
“Officials on our records team look forward to reviewing the evidence and hope to be able to verify Hilda’s efforts as a new record very soon.”
A Guinness World Records spokesperson also said: “We are aware of the record attempt and are looking forward to receiving the evidence for our Records Management Team to review, before we can confirm the record is official.”
But despite this, a twitter account with the name @TheHildaBaci has posted a picture with Baci holding the certificate of Guinness World Records and people have started believing it. Celebrities and more than 18k people have commented, congratulating Baci.
Different people have started sharing and posting the picture as the truth.
The PIJAlance subjected the image to an image testing tool and found that the image was falsely created. Below is the image corrupted to create that of Hilda Baci.
