The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission operatives branch in Lagos have arrested some alleged vote-buyers with the sum of N32,400,000 allegedly suspected to be used for vote buying in Lagos.

Disclosing this on its verified Twitter handle, the commission said a suspect involved has been arrested and spellbound into their custody for further questioning.

The Chairman of the commission also urged Nigerians that they should tip it whenever and wherever their suspicion is aroused over vote-buying during the Saturday polls. EFCC also said tactical operatives have been deployed underneath, across the 36 states to nip any vote-buyers in the bud.
