Ede North Council Chairman Dies Humane, ALGON Mourns
The Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) has mourned the sudden death of the chairman, Ede North Local Government Area, Alhaji Jimoh Wale Oyekanmi, describing his death as a great loss to the association and the state at large.
Chairman of the association, Hon Sarafadeen Awotunde, in a condolence message said the vacuum left by the deceased will be difficult to fill.
Hon Awotunde who described the late council boss as a committed party man and worthy administrator, said the news of his death was shocking.
He said the association will miss the late chairman, adding that the late Oyekanmi will forever be remembered for his steadfastness and dedication to duty.
He said the deceased was a disciplined administrator, who dedicated his life to the service of his people and humanity at large.
While commiserating with the family of the deceased politician, Hon Awotunde pray to God to grant the departed eternal rest and grant the family he left behind the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
He also consoled the people of Ede North Local Government and the Timi of Ede, Oba Munirudeen Adesola Lawal over the loss of his loyal subject.
Also, the ALGON chairman condoled with the Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke over the death of the late local government chairman.
