Earth Journalism Network Seeks Senior Journalists for Mentorship Programmes of Young Journos
Internews’ Earth Journalism Network (EJN) is seeking senior journalists and media trainers to mentor journalists who have been awarded story grants.
Journalists and media trainers with experience in marine issues, residing in a Mediterranean country, are eligible to apply for this remote, part-time job.
Applicants will be responsible for giving feedback and guidance on story ideas, encouraging grantees to explore underreported angles, offering editorial advice and supervision on visual content presentation, and ensuring that stories meet EJN’s editorial and ethical standards.
Successful candidates should have at least five years of editorial experience, preferably with a background in ocean and environmental features and/or investigations, strong writing and copy-editing skills, and experience in news reporting within the Mediterranean region.
The application deadline is Dec. 31.
