Heritage Ajibola, a Linguistics and African Language female student of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife has been pronounced dead after falling mistakenly into a septic tank.
This was disclosed today in an internal memorandum released by the Students Union Government of the institution with the signatory of the Public Relations Officer of the union, Ogunperi Taofeek Olalekan.
According to a source, Heritage fell into the septic tank that was covered with planks at Bver hostel around a place called Maintenance today and after few medications, she eventually gave up the ghost.
Some bona fide students of the Institution also said the hostel has been known for collecting a huge amount of money for hostel fees, yet they give little attention to hostel in maintaining it.
Students said result of them not maintaining the hostel properly led to plank being used to cover a septic tank that now led to the death of Heritage.
