Governor Seyi Makinde has paused his speech at the interfaith prayer session for Oyo State workers to observe one-minute silence upon confirming the death of Former Governor of Oyo state, Otunba Adebayo Alao Akala.
The Governor did this on Wednesday at the secretariat while saying he just received the news of the demise of the former Governor.
He called everyone to observe a minute silence at the event.
Makinde who couldn’t deliver his paper because of news of the death prayed for the family of the deceased.
The inter faith prayer was cut short afterward.
