Patriot Institute of Journalism and Arts elided as PIJA has unveiled a new brand to further discharge smart services for the smooth consumption of the General public.
PIJA disclosed this through its Director, Enoch Oyedibu on Saturday saying the new brand is to further expand the patriotic service of the Institute to the entire public.
According to him, the new brand name is tagged PIJALANCE MAGAZINE and it is mainly established to discrete the services of news reportage and Institutional lectures clashing within the institute and also create a more independent avenue for African writers to thrive with their craft while fulfilling the literary artistry mission of the Institute.
In his words: “we notice that some of our services have been clashing with each other and while we still have our loyal clients, followers and students that understood us, we thought we may have many others that don’t. So, this establishment is to clear all the doubt and as well achieve our missions along the line while the pleasure of the people is still guaranteed.
“We’ve embarked on the planning of the new brand since early 2021. And after we’ve done and perfected our research then, we announced it.
“PIJAlance will be a brand that will be representing our quarterly online magazine that will kickoff 2022. The magazine issues will mainly cut across editorial contents ranging from Journalism and Creative field—writings. This will create an avenue for writers as well to start sending their submissions to us. We’ll pick the best that suit our theme and requirements, then get them published.
“As we are just starting, we may not have the chance to reward any writers than give them their copyright forever. Notwithstanding, as time flies, I am sure we’ll start paying.”
Mr Oyedibu added that PIJAlance Magazine issues will be treatises around Investigative stories, politics, fashion, health and literary artistry.
He noted the work has started and very soon the entire team at PIJAlance will put out a call for submission.
Moreover, he emphasised that he remained the Chief Executive Director of PIJA, PIJAEdu, PIJA Printing Press, PIJA Publishing Firm and PIJAlance.
PIJA is a registered Institute that parentage all other PIJAs.
PIJAEdu is where digital skills and artistry not taught in schools are taught online.
PIJA Printing Press is an offline branch of the institute
PIJA Publishing Firm is an online publisher that publishes books, periodic, journals, short stories and under which PIJAlance Magazine would be published.
