After PIJAlance Story, Ogbomoso Rep Gives Scholarship to Only Daughter of Widow Crushed to Death by Trailer

The Federal Lawmaker representing Ogbomoso North/Ogbomoso South/Oriire constituency, Hon. Ayodeji Alao has given Balkis Moshood, the primary three pupil who lost her mother and two elderly sisters in a ghastly accident on Wednesday night at Apake area of Ogbomoso.

Hon. Alao, revealed this on his verified Facebook page, highlighting that he has sent delegates to the residence of the bereaved at Apake extension behind Atenda/Odo Nana area.

The leader of the delegates, Hon Bello Atanda, while speaking said the lawmaker who blamed the accident on the trailer driver, said the scholarship award available for the orphan covers her education from primary to the university level.

 

Atanda a. k a Igwe Razor, a former vice chairman of Ogbomoso South local government, said Hon Alao felt compassion after learning of the unfortunate incident.

 

“He immediately upon learning the details decided on awarding her scholarship up to the university level. It is a pitiable and regrettable situation.”

 

Those who accompanied Atanda to the residence include Alh Azeez Ayobami( Love Azeez), Alh Azeez Sakiru (Ojuoloore chairman), Mr Stephen Alabi, Hon Adeleke Tayo, Hon Adeshina Gabriel and Mr Oyetunde Amao.
